Please read these Terms &
Conditions carefully before submitting your job.
We will not commence working
on your hard drive unless the Legal owner of the submitted hard drive
signs and agree to the Terms and Conditions of this Document.
Our
Policies:
• "No Data, No Charge"
- Our "No Data, No Charge" policy ensures that we will do our
utmost to recover your data. It also means that there is no-risk when
using our services; we do not hand you a bill unless we also hand you
recovered data. Likewise, if your data has been declared unrecoverable
by another data recovery company, our "No Data, No charge" policy
makes us an excellent choice for a second opinion. Please note that return
shipping of your drive is exempt from this policy (see below).
• No Hidden Charges - We quote you one price for recovery provided
the details you have given are correct. We reserve the right to change
a quote if information provided is incorrect. You will be notified of
any change before work commences.
• Confidentiality - Any information retrieved from your drive is
safe with us. We keep all clients' data in confidence, and are willing
to put it on paper. If your data is sensitive information for you or your
organization, we are willing to sign a Non-disclosure agreement to ensure
that your proprietary information is safe with us. Additionally we will
delete any copy of your data as soon as payment has been received.
• Pricing - Our price for data recovery will be made to you over
the phone and/or as a written quote on request. The price includes data
being returned on the hard drive sent to us unless you provide an alternate
hard drive. We can supply a new hard disk if required or burn data to
CD or DVD for additional fees. See our Fees and Charges
table for an idea of what these are likely to cost.
• Payment - payment is expected at the time data is delivered. We
are strictly C.O.D. No payment will mean any recovered data will be deleted
and your drive returned to you at your expense.
• On Completion of Recovery - WE WILL return the Faulty Media at
your expense.
We do agree to the following:
1. We will take no responsibility
for the condition of the data or media before or after the recovery.
2. We will delete any copy
of recovered files as soon as the data has been transferred to the media
requested ie your supplied hdd, a hdd supplied by us, CD or DVD and payment
has been received.
3. We will RETURN any of the
Media provided by you at your expense as soon as payment has been received.
CAUTION: EQUIPMENT IS STATIC SENSITIVE!
Handling:
• Use an anti-static wrist strap when handling a hard drive
• Discharge any static electricity from your body by touching a
grounded object (such as a cold water pipe, grounded metal computer case,
Etc.).
• Avoid touching the circuit board or electrical connectors when
handling the hard drive.
Packing:
• Have a qualified technician remove the hard drive from the computer
and eliminate further static damage by placing the hard drive in an anti-static
bag. Alternatively you can send the pc (do NOT include monitor, keyboard,
mouse, cables or any other peripherals as we take no responsibility if
these get lost or damaged in transit) via courier or post. For your own
safety and protection use registered or insured mail if sending by post.
• Pack hard drive in a suitable shipping carton with a minimum of
2 inches packing material between the drive and carton. For best results,
use a shipping carton designed for hard drives (such as a manufacturer's
shipping carton).
• Include a copy of the D.R.F (Data Recovery Form) in the same shipping
carton as the drive. Please make sure that the owner of the Faulty media
has signed on all disclaimers - We will not commence working on your job
if disclaimers are not signed.
Shipping:
Mark the outside of the shipping carton with your job number.
Whenever possible, use a shipping service with tracking capabilities.
For best results, use an overnight or 2nd day service.

• The package should
be sent to the attention of your job number (Example: ATTN: DRF #1234).
• Contact us after the drive or pc is shipped and let us know when
the drive is expected and what your tracking number is (if applicable).
Notifying us of an incoming shipment will allow us to schedule resources
for your job in advance, thereby reducing turn-around time.
