DVD's are not infallable
and are subject to wear and tear like grubby finger prints, scratches and warping
from heat. A little care and common sense will keep your dvds looking and playing
like new for many, many years.
Finger prints can be washed off with a mild soapy solution and a soft cloth -
always work from the centre to the edge in a straight line, not in circular
motions.
DVD players can usually play a disc with minor scratches but larger
ones will cause problems - have a backup available.
Keep discs away from heat sources like direct sunlight.
Always store dvds in their cover when not in use.
